The Phoenix climbing shoes have been a popular choice in Mad Rock's product range for many years - constantly improved and adapted, the Phoenix is particularly comfortable on long alpine tours in the mountains, during sport climbing or simply as a comfortable shoe for beginners.

The relatively hard midsole offers a lot of support, the minimally asymmetrical construction with hardly any pre-tension and no significant downturn make the climbing shoe comfortable to wear. Leather as outer and inner material helps the shoe to adapt to the foot when worn, the lacing creates a precise fit.

Mad Rock has worked hard on its rubber compound over the past few years: the Science Friction 3.0 Rubber in 4.2 mm thickness is particularly durable and sticky, so that you will find a good grip even on greased steps. The special R2 Science Friction edge rubber counteracts scooping up, i.e. the detachment of the sole from the upper material. The Phoenix is a reliable and comfortable companion for many hours on the wall.
