Description

The 8.0 Alpine Core Protect Dry climbing rope from Mammut is a rope certified as a half and twin rope that is perfect for alpine multi-pitch routes.

Lightweight and with a small diameter, it impresses with super handling and safety reserves. The name of the Core Protect Rope says it all: there is an extra Aamid sheath between the polyamide outer sheath and core. In the event of a fall, the rather stiff aramid sheath unfolds thanks to its extra-long construction. As a result, the rope behaves just as dynamically as any other Mammut rope.

Thanks to a water and dirt-repellent dry finish, the rope rubs off even less and also cuts an excellent figure in snow and ice. The 8.0 Alpine Protect Core climbing rope is therefore suitable for all alpine destinations, from sport-oriented multi-pitch tours on rock to snow and ice-covered north faces.
