Description

The Mammut Men's Aenergy Ultra Mid GTX combines the speed and maximum cushioning of an ultra trail running shoe with the robustness of a hiking boot. Thanks to the waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex® lining, feet stay dry even in fickle weather.

This "Mid" version with its ankle-high shaft offers additional weather protection and some support in the ankle area.

When it comes to comfort, this special shoe scores points with details such as the elastic Gore-Tex® tongue construction, the rocker sole construction for dynamic rolling behaviour or the solid and thoroughly stabilized yet flexible Flextron® construction - ideal for long-distance hikes on technically easy trails.

The Vibram® Megagrip tread sole with 5 mm lug depth has been developed for maximum grip and stability on different surfaces.

With an extreme sole height of 43 mm at the heel and 35 mm in the forefoot, the shoe offers an outstanding mix of cushioning, protection, flexibility and support. The breathable synthetic upper makes it lightweight and comfortable to wear. In addition, reinforcements such as the clear abrasion protection and the protective cover on the lacing ensure that you can rely on the shoe when you're out and about, even when you're repeatedly walking through nasty undergrowth.
